Turkey: Support Foundation for Civil Society's Cemre Fund

The Cemre Fund is the initiative of those who observe the increase in this need and think that non-governmental organizations working in this field should be supported.

The goal of the promotion of civil society studies on poverty alleviation through the fulfillment of social needs and the models will emerge other civil and public stakeholders by adopting by defining as increasing experience in this field Cemre Fund.

Funding Information

  • The budget for proposed project ideas is expected to be a maximum of  150,000 TL. However, if there are other financial contributions (in-kind / tangible) for the proposed idea within the scope of the fund matching, the total budget of the project may be more.
  • The application period of the activities specified in the applications should be maximum 12 months. Application place of work will be supported within Turkey's borders.
  • The earliest start date of the activities is February 2021.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Cemre Fund to fight poverty in Turkey within the application and / or strengthening;
  • It is interested in all project ideas that are new / ongoing,
  • The beneficiary improves the quality of life of the target audience through the development of an institution's capacity,
  • Has the potential to be a model to the extent that it is supported.

Evaluation Criteria

Applications will be evaluated according to the following criteria:

  • Institutional capacity of the applicant organization: Sufficient management skills to focus on the work done by the organization's members, affiliates, (if any) employees, volunteers and expertise, and the team with primary responsibility for the grant having the knowledge, skills, time and experience required by the job,
  • Originality: the idea of the organization and the approach to Turkey's private in originality,
  • the sectors associated with social questions (the target audience) stk'yl relationship: the studied those directly affected by the consequences of social issues grants to the applicant organization solutions for the planning and implementation extent to which they take place,
  • Scalable approach:When sufficient resources are mobilized, the current approach or the model created has the potential to be reproducible,
  • Social impact: The measurable (potential) contribution of the development of the business or organization to civil society in general and to the subfield in civil society.
