The four Francophone Economic Development Organizations (FEDO) of Western Canada (Alberta Economic Development Council - CDEA, Economic Development Corporation of British Columbia - SDECB, Economic Development Council for Manitoba Bilingual Municipalities - CDEM and Conseil économique et coopératif de la Saskatchewan - CÉCS) are pleased to launch the second call for proposals for 2021-2022 Projects for Pan-West Francophone Economic Development Fund – FDÉFO.
The objective of the FDEFO is to promote and financially support economic development endogenous through projects designed and carried out by official language communities in minority (OLMC) from Western Canada.
Projects that are funded under the FDEFO program can be local in scope, provincial or interprovincial and must demonstrate a real impact and clear benefits and measurable in at least one of the following areas:
Funding Information
Annually, each FEDO has a total envelope of $ 136,500. An organization cannot submit only one application ( annual or multi-year ) per year. Project funding will be a minimum of $ 5,000 and a maximum of $ 75,000 per year.
Eligibility Criteria
Only Francophone organizations in Western Canada (Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and Columbia British), legally formed and local, provincial or interprovincial in scope, are eligible for FDEFO program.
