The Teach For Kosova Fellowship is a 2-year full-time teaching and leadership development program for outstanding Kosovars to realize their professional and leadership potential while committing to teaching in the classroom.

For Kosova Fellows will be placed in low-resourced, high need public schools, and be supported for two years with intensive leadership development and support.

Who is the Teach For Kosova Fellowship For?

  • The fellowship recruits and selects talented Kosovar graduates, young professionals, and existing teachers with diverse backgrounds and fields of study to become Fellows. The fellowship looks for leaders with a growth mindset and exceptional leadership potential.
  • Fellows are not required to have teaching experience when applying to the Fellowship Program. If selected for the Fellowship,Fellows will be trained at 6-week Intensive Summer Institute Training Program to prepare them for the classroom. Fellows will have continuous support throughout the 2-year Fellowship Program from experienced mentors to ensure that they can lead their classrooms and have a positive impact on their students.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The Fellowship is searching for outstanding Kosovar individuals to lead and teach students from challenging socioeconomic backgrounds to achieve significant academic and personal growth. If applicants are a working professional, a public school teacher with less than 3 years’ experience, or a graduating university student with strong leadership skills, passion for making an impact on the lives of children, and interest in becoming a lifelong leader in Kosova, Apply Now!
  • To be eligible, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
    • Kosovar citizens aged 35 and under
    • Possess a bachelor’s degree in any major by July 2021
    • Flexibility and willingness to work in any school where we will place Fellows
    • While teachers can apply, teaching experience is not required to be eligible for the Fellowship program. All academic and professional backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
