Solution Search: Water Pollution & Behavior Change Contest

Rare’s Center for Behavior and the Environment, 11th Hour Racing, The Circulate Initiative, Inter-American Development Bank, Lonely Whale, The Nature Conservancy and Ocean Conservancy have partnered up to launch the Solution Search: Water Pollution & Behavior Change Contest.

Solution Search is a global contest that surfaces, spotlights, and accelerates existing solutions that are changing behaviors to help solve the world’s most challenging environmental problems. This year’s contest is looking for promising approaches that are shifting people’s behavior toward cleaner, healthier water ecosystems.

Entering the contest could give your organization a chance to attend cutting edge trainings, workshops, and networking opportunities that can help you refine and scale your solution.

Prize Information

  • In addition, two $25,000 grand prizes will be awarded, along with a $10,000 Environmental Justice Prize, a $10,000 Youth Prize (available to organizations whose leaders are under 25 years old).
  • Finalist: All finalists attend a capacity-building workshop and awards ceremony with some of the biggest names in conservation, development and behavioral science.

Eligibility Criteria

Any organization or institution worldwide is eligible (e.g. city government, business, non-profit, university, etc.). Individuals are not eligible to enter.
