The Evelyn Trust seeks to support medical research and health and wellbeing projects in Cambridge shire. The Trust aims to benefit a broad range of projects over time. Grants must benefit charitable or non-profit making organizations, not individuals.

The Trust is increasingly interested in medical research and health and wellbeing projects that will deliver transformational change, especially demonstration or pilot projects. 

The Evelyn Trust supports the Cambridge Research Training Fellowship programme and there is a separate application process for this.

The Evelyn Trust awards medical grants for:

• Clinical research projects – Towards the cost of specific, planned and well managed medical research programmes especially for younger researchers or newly established researchers seeking to obtain their first funding.
• Medical support staff and teams to achieve a step-change in service – Towards the cost of medical/care teams and staff engaged in specific innovative, transformational programmes to provide medical and healthcare support to the public.

Funding Information

• Each year, they hope to make grants totaling between £500,000 and £1.5m.
• They also consider applications for any amount, up to about £250,000.
