Call for Applications for Women & Girls Program - Kenya

The Zephaniah Owidi Odongo (ZOO) Memorial Foundation is calling applications for the Women & Girls Program.


ZOO Memorial Foundation is a non-profit organization creating digital spaces and providing digital literacy training to underserved, isolated and rural communities. Their mission is to improve social welfare and promote economic development by enabling open access to digital technology through the provision of computers and facilitation of digital skills training to schools, women-focused initiatives and community organizations. They believe they can close the digital divide in Kenya by ensuring that underserved, isolated and rural communities have access to information communication technology, ICT.

Eligibility Criteria

The ZOO Memorial Foundation will support organizations which meet the listed criteria below

  • Women-focused, women-led initiatives
  • Legally registered in Kenya
  • In operation for at least 2 years
  • Grassroots organizations with strong community involvement
  • A forefront digital (ICT) agenda
  • Readily available room for services dissemination
