The Quartet Community Foundation is seeking proposals for the Express Grant Program (Includes Coronavirus Response).

The Express Grant can support charitable and community activities, projects and services that aim to improve the lives of local people by addressing specific needs and disadvantages within their communities. These activities should reflect the concerns and priorities of the people they aim to benefit and where possible include the active involvement of local people in designing and delivering the activity. The application must also demonstrate how the activities will complement existing local charitable and community initiatives.

The Foundation is prioritising activities supporting work with people and/or sectors within:

• Black, Asian & Minority Ethnic (BAME) Communities
• Young people
• Disabled people
• People in poverty or on low incomes
• Women & girls
• Health and well-being
• Older people

The Foundation wants to support action on reducing environmental impact, increasing environmental sustainability and redressing inequalities through action on diversity, equity and inclusion. They will take into consideration the action a group is taking on these issues and they welcome applications for funding that incorporate this work.

Funding Information

Maximum grant awarded: Grants of £500 - £5,000.

Eligibility Criteria

Express Grants are targeted at small not-for-profit organisations and community groups with charitable aims. Applicants must be based and working in Bristol, Bath & North-East Somerset, North Somerset or South Gloucestershire.
