The Friends of Moldova is inviting applications for the Small Grants Program from local nonprofits, initiative groups, and aspiring entrepreneurs that benefit the Moldovan community, either through direct funding or through material support (such as technology, equipment, or educational materials).

Friends of Moldova believes that local communities understand their own needs and aspirations best, so they feel the community must be the primary force behind the project.

Grant amount up to $3000.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for a grant you must fall into at least one of the following categories:

• Moldovan citizens (youth and young adults encouraged)
• Moldovan initiative groups, startups, small businesses, and social entrepreneurships
• Organizations registered as non-profit NGOs and operating in Moldova;
• Current Peace Corps Volunteers through the Peace Corps Partnership Program.
