The Embassy of the United States of America in Jakarta is pleased to announce an open competition for eligible higher education institutions (HEIs), research centers, and other nonprofit educational organizations to submit proposals to the 2021 Academic Writing Center (AWC) Support Funds Grant Competition.
Purpose of AWC Support Funds Grants: The Embassy of the United States of America invites proposals for funding to assist in the establishment of academic writing centers at Indonesian HEIs or research centers to support scholarly publication by members of the Indonesian scientific community. Each AWC funded under this assistance award program will serve as a support unit within the host HEI or research center which will provide consultative services to improve academic writing in English as a Foreign Language. By improving written academic English proficiency and increasing publication rates, the AWC will serve to improve overall institutional quality at the host institution.
