Stories of Change - Case Study Challenge 2020-21 (India)

Azim Premji University has been organizing the ‘Stories of Change' - Case Study Challenge, on documenting good practices of social change from NGOs, government programs, Social Enterprises, and other organizations directly involved in the design and implementation of development interventions.

This year, India, as well as most parts of the world, has witnessed an unprecedented pandemic, Covid-19, killing over a million people, crippling the health system, the economy, employment and livelihoods, education and other vital aspects of public life. While it exposed several weaknesses of the policy and institutional regimes of the country as regards healthcare, migration, welfare and livelihoods, small and medium businesses, etc. the last six months also witnessed the display of incredible collective action of larger citizenry in areas of humanitarian response, healthcare, livelihoods, entitlements, including influencing policy around these issues.
