DisAbility Fest 2015

3rd December is commemorated worldwide as UN international Day of Persons with Disabilities. Trust Cradle and Select City Walk with technical support of UNIC, WHO, UNDP and UNICEF had organized a 4- day programme as (Dis)Ability Fest.

It was an occasion for awareness, empowerment and inclusion which showcased the ability and productivity of the persons with disabilities in all walks of life. Be it, education, skill development, industrial production, sports activities, and cultural performances.

The programme also received huge participation from:

• NGOs working in the field of disability and have exhibited their products and services.
• PSUs and Corporates who had promoted their CSR activities and were finding the eligible NGO for funding.
• Firms dealing in Assistive Technology and have showcased their products.
• Placement Agencies for offering jobs to youth with disability.

The event was also followed by cultural performances by persons with disabilities where they had showcased their artistic excellence, indomitable spirit and abilities.
